Inspired by modern ikebana and the textures of the natural world, this vessel is made to be held and arranged slowly. Small openings across the top support delicate stems and encourage thoughtful arrangements.
Hand-built and carved, with a white satin interior glaze. Note: in some light the vase is two toned due to variation in clay.
Shaped slowly and intuitively, so no two pieces are the same. Colours may also vary slightly depending on light and screen.
Dimensions: 160mm W x 195mm H Material: stoneware, white satin glaze Watertight
I acknowledge the Whadjuk Noongar people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I live and work, and pay my respects to Elders past and present. I'm grateful to create on Country, near Derbal Yerrigan and Wadjemup — places of deep cultural significance and ongoing inspiration.
